Requirements to Obtain a Work Visa in Malta

  • A valid passport
  • Travel medical insurance
  • An employment contract with a company based in Malta
  • Proof of accommodations for the duration of the applicant’s time in Malta
  • Evidence of sufficient financial means to cover the entire period of the applicant’s stay
  • Relevant Work Experience
  • Updated Resume
  • Candidates should be currently working
  • COVID-19 fully-vaccination certification
  • Residency documents for applicants residing outside their home country

Work Permit Process:

Process

Step 1:

– Complete documents will be presented to the employer in Malta for screening

Step 2:

– Interview will be done on Skype (If required)

Step 3:

– After selection, job offer will be issued by the employer

Step 4:

– Job offer acceptance by the applicant with additional documents shared with the employer

Step 5:

-Submit Applicant Documents to CIC – Receive Confirmation of Permanent Residence Visa – Get applicants visa stamped on Passport

Step 6:

-Work Permit issued – Letter of approval is valid for 180 days

-Book accommodation

Step 3:
